Kingdom Life Family

Today we celebrated KLB's 4th anniversary. The church was filled with people and there was a great buzz in the place. After another special time of enthusiastic and joyful worship, I shared a message from John 1:19-27 that I believe is a prophetic word for KLB. God's word to KLB is that they are called to step into the ministry and anointing of John the Baptist as they become "A voice of one calling in the desert, 'Make straight the way for the Lord.'" We noted how John the Baptist drew people to his ministry because he understood his identity, his calling, his message and Christ's greatness. Similarly, KLB is called to walk in her identity in Christ, pursue what she is called to do, preach the message of the present and future reality of God's Kingdom and trust in the greatness of Christ. After the message, our team, with the support of KLB, prayed for Julius, Roszel and Aaron. It was a very special time and I believe a very significant occasion. After some special music, the pastors and core group members then prayed for our KLF team and were presented with gifts. These guys really love us and honour us. We are going to miss them very much!

After a snack lunch after the meeting, we made our way to Cabadbaran to attend pastor Berwyn's church - Mabini Christian Fellowship. The place was packed with people and after a time of worship I spoke to the church about how God has given us the Spirit of His Son so that we can approach the Father as Jesus does and pray in Jesus' Name with the same relationship and authority as the Son of God with His Father. We then invited people forward for prayer and we ministered to the sick. Once again God was faithful and touched many people. Some reported that they experienced immediate relief as we prayed for them. Hallelujah!

After the church service we were asked to visit a family that had started a new catering business in Cabadbaran and we were asked to bless their endeavour. We then made our way to Berwyn and Liberty's home where we were invited to dinner. It was lovely to see Liberty's mum again and spend time with the Villadares family.

Today was our last day of ministry. Tomorrow we plan to go to the beach to enjoy a day off with the Regalas and the Villadres family. This evening the weather turned and it began raining heavily so we will need to see what the weather will be like tomorrow.

"I am the voice of one calling in the desert,
'Make straight the way of the Lord.'" John 1:23
